Lake Country Open Air Performance Society
2008 Summary
Our first season (2008) of the Open Air Performances was a huge success. Some highlights include:

Seven (7) evening concerts were held during July and August 2008 at various parks in Lake Country featuring a wide range of talented local performers

Over 1,000 people attended ~ 144 each concert

Approximately 15-20% of the audience were visitors to Lake Country

We successfully received funding from The District of Lake Country, The Central Okanagan Foundation, The Rotary and Lion’s Club’s of Lake Country, the Carr’s Landing Community & Recreation Association, and BC 150. Additional funding was attained through a multi-level sponsorship program focusing on local businesses.
